Brunswick is a large cabbage that is used in sauerkraut production which is an old heirloom German variety dating back to the 18th Century. It can be grown spring, summer and fall. Brunswick is one of the largest and cold-hardy varieties available producing really large solid medium green heads ideal for autumn winter harvest with good storage qualities.
