Description
Fragrant, ferny foliage is similar to dill. Young leaves make a nice addition to salad mixes. Grows best in warmer climates, but will produce seeds in northern areas if started early. Cumin is commonly used in dishes like chili, curries, tacos, falafel, hummus, roasted vegetables, lamb dishes, and many Indian and Mexican cuisines, where it adds a warm, earthy flavor to meats, beans, lentils, and rice; it’s often used in spice blends for both grilling and seasoning various dishes.
